Ebbsfleet United manager Dennis Kutrieb expressed his frustration at letting two points slip against Eastbourne Borough.

Alfie Egan had given Fleet a second-half lead last night in the National League South fixture, only for Eastbourne to level soon after through Dean Cox.

Ebbsfleet are 6th in the table after a solid start, but Kutrieb was disappointed at what he saw as a missed opportunity.

He told BBC Radio Kent’s Charles Webster: “In the second half, their keeper was really brilliant, so he saved that point.

“He had a really good game, but for me, it’s not enough today. I’m not happy and I’m disappointed because we could win this game; we should win this game because we are capable to do [so].”
