EBAC Northern League Division Two club Alnwick Town have announced that manager Adam Laidlaw has resigned.

A statement on the club website confirmed the news




It read “Alnwick Town can confirm that Adam Laidlaw has resigned as 1st team manager.

His resignation follows on from Saturday’s defeat at Ryhope CW.

The club would like to thank Adam for his efforts and time at the club, and wish he well for the future.

Adam said on Twitter, “Regrettably I have to announce that I have resigned as manager at Alnwick Town. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time with the club and wish them all the best for the future. Some absolutely amazing people involved up there. Hope we cross paths soon.”

Steve Mullen will take charge of 1st team affairs until the end of the season”
