Hebburn Town have signed midfielder Jack Lambert.

The former Middlesbrough and Dundee youngster joins the club as they look ahead to playing last season’s FA Vase final in May against Consett.

The 21-year-old has returned to the North East following a spell with ÍBV in Iceland.

Manager Kevin Bolam told Hebburn’s website: “He’s an exciting, talented, young player who fits the player profile of what we want here at Hebburn.

“I’m thrilled to have the lad on board, and with the loss of Cedwyn Scott to Carlise, Jack will be a good addition to our squad.

“He’s joined at a really exciting period and I’m sure he’ll do well.”
