North Ferriby United go into Saturday’s game at Buxton with caretaker manager Joe Lamplough in charge.
This follows the sacking of manager Chris Bolder and assistant manager Paul Robson last weekend. Moving forward, Lamplough has made it clear that he will be in charge only temporarily,
“It’s an honour to be asked to manage Ferriby but my business and family commitments mean that it is not possible to consider taking on the role permanently.
“I have the utmost respect for both Chris and Paul and that is one of the reasons that I have agreed with Carl Chadwick taken on the manager’s role on a temporary basis.
“Another reason is that we owe it to the players to try and keep the squad together, at least in the short-term until a permanent manager is in place. That is in the best interests of the club and players.”
