Lancaster City manager Mark Fell has proposed a solution for completing the current Northern Premier Division season.

The Dolly Blues are currently due to restart against Radcliffe in a month’s time, following the lockdown.

Speaking to the Lancaster Guardian, Fell said:

“I think the sensible thing to do would be to split the division into two and have two divisions of 11 all playing 20 games.

“You would promote the top of each division and start on January 1.”
