Inih Effiong cited the “real belief” in the Dover squad to go and claim injury-time victories against Barnet and Wrexham over the past week.
The forward headed home the winner for Dover on Tuesday night, coming off the bench to react first to Jai Reason’s parried shot in the 94th minute.
The header was his first of the campaign, and helped the Whites to claim their third victory in four National League matches so far.
“We’ve got a thing about getting last minute winners,” Effiong said.
“Even last season against Fylde and things like that, we’ve got real belief.
“It’s a common thing and it’s the best feeling when you do it, because you know that we’ve stayed solid the whole game and not conceded.”
