Corinthian-Casuals have unveiled award-winning law firm Selachii LLP as their main sponsors for the upcoming 2016-17 Ryman League season.
As the new principal sponsors of Corinthian-Casuals, the London-based commercial litigation lawyers will see their logo emblazoned across the front of the Ryman South club’s home and away shirts.
Selachii LLP’s Simon Taylor and Casuals manager James Bracken are pictured with the club’s home kit at King George’s Field on Sunday.
The sponsors have already produced a short film on academy player and lifelong Casuals fan Billy Stringer and say they are delighted to be stepping up their involvement with Bracken and his side targeting promotion to the Ryman League’s top flight.
In a statement announcing the new partnership, Taylor called the chance to sponsor Corinthian-Casuals a “privilege” for the prestigious City law firm.
He said: “It is the history, tradition and individuality of the Corinthian-Casuals FC that Selachii LLP is so privileged to sponsor. We are delighted to support such a great family club with a deep-rooted unique history.
“We wish the club total success going forward and especially this coming 2016-2017 season and their bid for promotion to the Ryman League’s Premier Division.”
Selachii LLP’s managing partner Richard Howlett said: “From our perspective Corinthian Casuals reflects everything we want our law firm to represent. Their passion, belief, determination and obvious ethics are why the club exists and why they continue to thrive after almost 150 years.”
He added: “They are an inspiration to us and a blueprint for the passion, belief, determination and ethics we want to deliver to our clients.”
Casuals boss Bracken said: “It’s fantastic news. What I like about them is they’ve already been involved. They’ve produced a fabulous documentary about the club and shown a real interest in what we’re about.
“I’ve met both Richard and Simon in person and they’re very active, which is great. It’s nice to have sponsors who don’t just put money in because they want their name on the shirt but have rather bought into what we’re trying to achieve here.
“They believe in what we do; we’re an ambitious club who play without a budget. They’re very progressive as are we.”
Corinthian-Casuals secretary Hanna Newton also hailed the club’s latest commercial success and promised the sponsors a warm welcome at games when the new season kicks off on Saturday.
“We are delighted to embrace Selachii LLP as a fresh, dynamic and engaged facet of this beautiful club,” she said. “The projects that Simon and Richard have already worked on, both with and for us, are dynamic and we look forward to a long and exciting future with both partners fully involved in the club.
“The summer has been full of shared events and experiences that have grown our relationship and we very much look forward to welcoming Simon, Richard, their families and guests to our games on a very regular basis.”
She added: “The company itself is an award-winning law firm with a unique approach and excellent results, so please do familiarise yourselves with their website and get in touch should you need legal expertise.”
