AFC Telford United have announced the signing of Theo Streete.
30-year-old Streete began his career with Derby County before joining Rotherham United, Solihull Moors and then Alfreton Town. Streete, who can play across the defence or in central midfield, joined Nuneaton Town in the summer of 2013.
He left Nuneaton to re-join Solihull Moors in May 2015, going onto captain the team to their promotion to the National League under Marcus Bignot and Gavin Cowan. In December 2016, Streete left Solihull as he required surgery on a knee injury which kept him out of action for 12 months.
In January 2018, he signed for Brackley and was part of the team that won the FA Trophy at Wembley in May following their penalty shoot out win over Bromley. Manager Gavin Cowan was delighted with his latest addition to the squad.
“Theo is a player I obviously know very well having played with him at several clubs. He is a leader of men who is now back fit and eager to go for the new season.
“Theo will be massive in the changing room as well as on the pitch and knows very well what it takes to get success at this level and above!”
