The National League North side confirmed last week that two members of the squad had tested positive, with their next two fixtures subsequently postponed.

As part of an update today, the club said: “With regard to the ongoing situation of players having tested positive for coronavirus, the end result of testing is that four players have tested positive, with two of those players being asymptomatic and the other two having mild symptoms, from which they have recovered. On the advice of the club medical officer, the first-team squad were placed in a 14-day period of football isolation until Monday 26th October.

“The affected players thank you for your support and wish for a speedy recovery, with the first-team squad returning to training on Tuesday 27th October and in preparation for the fixture at home to Gateshead on Saturday 31st October.”
