Birmingham City Under-23s will use Leamington’s ground as the club’s alternative venue this season.

Nine PDL fixtures will be played at the Phillips 66 Community Stadium, Harbury Lane.

Blues’ agreement with Solihull Moors came to an end last season and the National League side decided they did not want to continue with the arrangement in the interests of pitch protection.

So Blues have joined forces with National League North side Leamington, who have taken goalkeeper Jake Weaver on a season-long loan.

Blues will play five PDL fixtures at the St. Andrew’s Trillion Trophy Stadium – beginning with a clash against groundshare tenants Coventry City Under-23s on Friday, 13 September (1.30pm).
