Leatherhead have appointed former Aldershot and Wycombe Wanderers goalkeeper Nikki Bull as their new manager.
The 36-year-old ex-Margate boss replaces Sammy Moore, who left to take over at Concord Rangers recently. A statement on the Tanners’ website reads:
‘The club are delighted to announce the appointment of Nikki Bull as Player/Manager on a 2 year contract. With the high quality of applicants the club have taken the necessary time to make the right decision to move the club forwards.
Nikki displays an enthusiasm and clear planned approach to continuing the success the club has achieved in the past couple of seasons. His vision for the club is aligned with our own thoughts linked to continuity and moving the club forward in a professional manner.
His past playing and managerial career was at a high level and also shows his commitment to clubs he has represented. We will look to support him in his endeavours wherever possible to create the best environment possible within our means.
I would like to encourage the fantastic support from last year to get behind Nikki from the start. I am in absolutely no doubt the tanners fans will do so.
