Former Huddersfield Town boss and Newcastle United midfielder Lee Clark has been appointed Blyth Spartans manager.
The 46-year-old, who also managed Birmingham City and Blackpool in the Championship, was last in charge at Bury in 2017. He replaces Alun Armstrong, who left recently to take the reins at Darlington.
Clark told the club’s website: “First and foremost, it’s football – I love it, I want to be on the grass. I’ve been too long out the game and an opportunity to be at home around my family at a great club with great tradition, when they contacted me, I was honoured.”
