Radcliffe Borough are wishing their on loan Everton keeper Matthew Johnson a speedy recovery after he broke his leg in the EVO-STIK Northern Premier League on Saturday.
Boro’s EVO-STIK NPL First Division North clash with Colne at Stainton Park was abandoned soon after the 18-year-old stopper, pictured, was hurt in the 20th minute.
After being treated by medics at the ground Johnson was taken by ambulance to hospital in Bury.
The Rochdale-born teenager joined Boro at the start of the season after signing scholarship forms at Everton in July 2015.
