Chris Henderson has left Leiston and joined King’s Lynn Town.
The attacking midfielder joined the club in the summer of 2017 and played a part in securing a first ever play-off match for the club. He also helped Leiston to a first ever Suffolk Premier Cup triumph in the final game of last season as the Blues defeated Bury Town 3-0 in the final at Portman Road.
His final appearance came the other Saturday when Leiston were defeated 4-3 by Hastings at Victory Road in the FA Cup. In total, Henderson made 57 appearances for Leiston in all competitions, netting eight goals.
Leiston manager Glen Driver said of his departure: “I’d like to thank Chris for his efforts in a Leiston shirt. He helped create history for our club last year and I wish him well for the future.”
