Penalty shoot-out hero Chris Lewington has started talks over a new deal at Maidstone, Kent Online report.
Lewington saved three Bromley spot-kicks as Maidstone retained the Kent Senior Cup this week.
The goalkeeper revealed after the final that he’s hoping to stay at the Gallagher Stadium in National League South next season.
He said: “We’ve spoken about potentially staying next year.
“We’re going to have a chat in the next couple of weeks and take it from there.
“I’ve enjoyed my time here, it’s been good, so I’m happy.
“If it works right for the club and it works right for me, then we can do something.
“It could be very exciting next year.”
