Leyton Orient duo James Brophy and Sam Ling could return to full training later this week as they step up their recovery from their respective injuries, report the East London & West Essex Guardian.

Left winger Brophy hasn’t featured since the 2-0 win over Maidstone United last month due to a torn hamstring, having scored once in Orient’s first four games this campaign.

Brophy has been in impressive form for the O’s since moving to East London on a permanent basis in January from Swindon Town, but faces a fight on his hands to return to the starting line-up due to James Dayton’s strong displays recently.

Ling, like Brophy, has also missed the last month after aggravating an injury sustained against Barrow in training, with Myles Judd filling in at right-back in the 21-year-old’s absence.

But assistant coach Ross Embleton confirmed that the duo could return to full training later this week and also said centre-back George Elokobi is recovering well from his hamstring problem.
