Leyton Orient have confirmed they have signed defender Jamie Turley after his departure from Notts County.

The deal for the 28-year-old is until the end of the season, as the O’s bid to return to the EFL. Turley left Notts County a few days ago, having initially joined the club back in September.

The former Wycombe Wanderers youth has also played for Salisbury City, Forest Green Rovers, Eastleigh, Newport County and Boreham Wood (loan) during his career. The centre-back / right-back told Orient’s website:

“I’m really happy to be here, the club’s in a great position and it’s something I couldn’t really turn down. I’m looking forward to getting going.

“I’m really committed. That’s the minimum [the fans can expect], they pay their hard-earned money every week so they want to see a player at least try hard!”
