Leyton Orient say that following meetings with the Football League, it can be confirmed that if Orient regain their Football League status at the end of this season they will continue to run their Category 3 academy.

In the event the club does not get promoted this season, it will lose the right to run an academy, as it will have been outside the EFL for more than two seasons and no longer be able to partake in the games programme or register players.

The intention will be to create a bespoke college programme aimed at 16-18 year olds. Further details will be provided once the league status of the club is known for next season.
