National League Woking are looking to bring Charlton Athletic youngster Regan Charles-Cook back to the Laithwaite Community Stadium on loan.
The winger impressed in the first half of the season for the Cards with a number of assists and goals, before picking up an injury and returning to the Addicks. Charles-Cook has been featuring for Charlton’s U23 squad recently, including the 2-1 win against Watford on Monday (March 5), and has picked up his good form again – and that has caught the eye of Woking boss Anthony Limbrick.
The player’s brother, Anthony, is on loan with the Surrey club from Ebbsfleet United. There is a chance both could now play in the same team together if Woking can get the deal done.
Limbrick is hoping to bring in another addition, too, if he can.
“Regan was a great player for us and it was a shame he got injured and he had to go back to Charlton,” he said.
“He did really well for us and in the FA Cup run we had – I think he got six or seven goals in the amount of starts he had.”
