Lincoln United boss Steve Housham and assistant Nathan Jarman have left the club.

Chairman Rob Bradley stepped down last month, while back in December, the club were appealing for ‘any form of support, including sponsorship of players, matches (and) areas around the ground.’

A club statement this morning reads: “Lincoln United FC would like to announce that Steve Housham and his assistant Nathan Jarman have decided to leave the club with immediate effect. Due to financial restrictions imposed it was getting increasingly difficult for them to recruit the players they felt they needed to be competitive and so has made it impossible for them to continue in their duties.”

The Whites are currently third-bottom of the BetVictor Northern Premier League South East Division and were beaten 5-0 at home to Frickley Athletic at the weekend.
