Adam Lockwood is hoping for an FA Cup run to give his Guiseley players an experience they have never faced before.
Lincoln come into the fixture on a good run having not lost since a trip to Dover on 24th September and Danny Cowley will be looking to continue that at Nethermoor on Tuesday night.
Lockwood’s Lions are unbeaten in three matches following home wins over York and Southport and the draw at Lincoln on Saturday.
Reflecting on Saturday’s game manager Adam Lockwood said “Looking at the game overall I don’t think we were nowhere near what we can be on the ball but off the ball we were superb.”
“I think the guys in the dressing room are showing another side of their game and proving to themselves what they are about, a few weeks ago we wouldn’t have come away with anything.”
“The guys are learning and developing themselves as individuals” said Lockwood who is proud of how far his players have come in recent weeks.
“We’re still in to get in to that next round which is great for the club and the fans.”
“We want to win every game to breed a winning habit.”
“You could see the guys out there really wanted to hold on to a clean sheet.”
“The draw is nice for the fans, some of our players may never have been on an FA Cup run” the draw is televised on Monday on BBC 2 and BT Sport 1 from 7pm.
“If you go on a run it is great for the club and individuals, it is a good time you can get a lot of memories from it.”
“If you get success and keep winning it is great, it is a bit of a reward for the fans and everyone connected to the club who put so much effort in.”
