Barnet goalkeeper Kai McKenzie-Lyle has signed for Liverpool.
The towering 20-year-old went on trial with the Premier League side in the summer and has now signed a permanent contract with the Reds. The North London-born Guyana international made his debut for Barnet at just 17 years of age.
He has gained further experience out on loan at Cockfosters, St Ives Town and Hayes & Yeading United. Strangely enough, McKenzie-Lyle also scored on his international debut against Surinam in October 2016.
After signing for Liverpool, he said on his Instagram:
Happy to start my new challenge with @liverpoolfc big thanks to @10tentalent for getting it done #YNWA ❤⚽️
