Chester FC have announced that winger Ryan Lloyd has returned on loan until January 2017 from League One side Port Vale.

Lloyd spent a successful loan spell at Chester last season before signing a new one-year contract with Vale in the summer.

The winger progressed through the Vale junior ranks and has made two starts and sixteen substitute appearances since turning professional in 2011.

The 22-year-old was not part of the Chester squad this weekend for their clash at Maidstone United, however, but will begin training with them in the days following that game.
