Former Chairman and President of the National League, Brian Lee, has been honoured with a Lifetime Achievement Award by the League Managers Association.
The LMA Services to Football Award highlights Lee’s contribution to the sport which saw him have a lasting impact on Wycombe Wanderers, where he was chairman for many years, the National League and the wider football community.
Lee managed the Chairboys between 1969 and 1976 when the club were a non-League side.
His involvement with Wycombe continued as chairman after he left his management role where he played an important role in the development of their new Adams Park ground.
He went on to be an influential Chairman and President of the Football Conference (National League), and has been recognised for his work on a number of occasions.
The LMA award comes just over a year after he was handed an MBE for his services to football in the 2015 New Year Honours.
