Charnock Richard recognised the efforts of one of their long serving volunteers Keith Reader, with a presentation at the recent home game against St Helens Town

Former committee member Keith stepped down as the club’s programme editor after 15 continuous years in the role, and Charnock Richard Chairman Shaun Tootell presented Keith with an award of glass crystal to thank him for his outstanding contribution to the club over a period of many years.

Shaun said: “Keith retired as match-day programme editor at the end of last season following a spell of producing one of the best match-day publications ever produced in the West Lancashire League.

“However, Keith hasn’t completely hung up his boots just yet, and will continue supporting the club with match reports and programme articles for all the future first team matches in the Hallmark Security Football League”.
