Barwell manager Jimmy Ginnelly has hinted that a move to Loughborough Dynamo could be on the cards for experienced defender, Luke Foster.

The 32-year-old, who has amassed over 350 career appearances, is free to leave Northern Premier League outfit Barwell, and Ginnelly has held discussions about the player with Dynamo manager Peter Ward.
The Canaries are on a fine run of form which, coupled with Foster’s travel commitments from his home in Barnsley, have made the logistics of his stay difficult.
“I spoke to Luke about three weeks ago,” Ginnelly said. “We’re on a good run at the minute and he lives in Barnsley, a long old trek to come down. I wouldn’t sit him on the bench because we wouldn’t spend that sort of money on a substitute.
“I think we’ll find that Luke might be going to play for Loughborough Dynamo. I’ve sorted it out with Pete, their manager. You don’t mess around with people like Luke Foster, he’s got too much experience to be sitting around on the bench.
“He wished us all the best and said ‘well done’, and that he’s there if I need him. So that’s the story with Luke at the minute.”
