Jack Mackreth has rebuffed interest from teams in higher divisions to remain with Warrington Town, report the Warrington Guardian.

The fleet-footed winger will be a part of Paul Carden’s squad next year having turned down offers from teams in the National League North.

Mackreth enjoyed the best goalscoring season of his career in 2018/19 having netted 12 times in all competitions – only strikers Tony Gray and Josh Amis scored more.

In further good news, attacking midfielder Bohan Dixon has also agreed to remain at Cantilever Park for next season.
