Maidenhead United have signed Dylan Asonganyi from MK Dons and Emile Acquah from Southend United on loan.

19-year-old forward Asonganyi graduated through the Dons academy and scored his first goal for the first team in a Carabao Cup tie against Charlton Athletic last season. Chief scout Lee Devonshire said: “Dylan is a goalscorer. Small, sharp and technically good. He will give us something different moving forward for the run-in.”

Acquah, also 19 years of age, had previously agreed a deal to sign for the Magpies on a loan basis back in January. However, Southend were forced to recall the forward almost immediately due to injuries in their squad.

Acquah has featured for Southend in their League One campaign this season and scored against Ipswich Town at Roots Hall. Devonshire said: “We are very pleased to get Emile finally over the line after injuries scuppered the move a few weeks back. A big powerful lad who will bring something different to the table for us.”
