Maidenhead United manager Alan Devonshire has moved quickly to strengthen his defensive options with the signings of Ryheem Sheckleford and Chinua Cole.

Sheckleford is a former Fulham youth prospect who appeared in the Cottagers 2013/14 FA Youth Cup final side and was captain of their Under 18s the following season. During his time with Fulham Sheckleford enjoyed a loan spell with National League South outfit Wealdstone. The 21-year-old can operate at right-back or in midfield and he will take squad number 16.

24-year-old Cole is a left-back formerly with Torquay United who impressed during a trial spell at York Road during the summer, appearing in a number of the friendly matches. Cole will take squad number 15.

Both players will be eligible for selection against Wrexham at York Road on Tuesday night.
