Maidenhead United have signed defender Ayo Obileye after his release from Eastleigh.

The 23-year-old was let go by the Spitfires last month and he now joins Alan Devonshire’s side in the same division (Vanarama National League). A one-time Leyton Orient and Chelsea youngster, Obileye debuted at 16 for Sheffield Wednesday, but the EFL Trophy appearance at Bradford City would be his solitary outing for the Owls.

He has since gone on to have spells at Charlton Athletic, Dagenham and Redbridge (loan) and Dover Athletic (loan).
