Maidenhead United have confirmed that their upcoming fixtures with Dover Athletic are not set to go ahead.

Alan Devonshire’s side had two National League games coming up with the Whites, with one having previously been postponed due to COVID cases in the Dover ranks, and another due to the weather.

With Dover having recently signalled their intention not to continue the season, in light of the absence of further grant funding, Maidenhead have said:

“Maidenhead United have discussed with the National League and opposition clubs the possibility of arranging alternative fixtures but have been unable to agree the bringing forward of other matches to fill the gap.

“Consequently, our next league fixture will be the visit to Solihull Moors on Saturday 6th March and the next home game will now be on Saturday 13th March, when Chesterfield will visit York Road.”
