Maidstone United have signed former Bournemouth striker Joe Quigley.

The 21-year-old, who made his international debut for the Republic of Ireland Under-21s in March, has signed a one-year deal at the Gallagher.

Quigley spent a decade on the south coast, during a time where the Cherries went from League Two to Premier League.

In the last few years he’s had loan spells with Gillingham and Newport County, as well as Torquay, Woking, Wrexham and most recently Boreham Wood.

Following his release from Bournemouth, boss Jay Saunders and club chief executive Bill Williams have been putting in the hours to secure the signature of the highly-rated frontman.
