Maidstone United striker Joe Quigley has signed for fellow Vanarama National League side Bromley.
Quigley, a summer transfer from AFC Bournemouth, has linked up with Neil Smith’s side on a permanent basis. Smith told the club’s website:
“People may think this is a last minute-signing, but Joe is someone I’ve kept an eye on for a while now. When playing against him during his time at Woking, he impressed me, and I grabbed the opportunity to bring another good quality forward in.
“He’s a good player – a Republic of Ireland U21 international. Hopefully we can get the best out of him.”
Quigley himself added: “It’s great to get the deal over the line now. It’s something I’ve heard about for a few weeks now and I’m pleased to get it done.
“I was very impressed with the way Bromley set up when they played Maidstone a couple of weeks ago and it definitely played a part in me wanting to come here.”
