Sammy Moore says he will be playing a key role for Concord Rangers on and off the pitch next season.

The former professional footballer was appointed on a two-year contract yesterday, and replaces Adam Flanagan who departed last week. And Moore says both he and assistant manager Jack Midson will be donning their boots next term as they look to guide the Beach Boys to another successful season.

“I am looking forward to it,” said Moore. “Jack and I will both play a big part on the pitch next season and I am looking forward to getting in amongst it.

“But if we are playing we want good people on the side we can trust and we have that.”
