Evo-Stik Southern Premier League club Basingstoke Town have announced that manager Terry Brown has signed a new two-year contract with the club.

The former AFC Wimbledon boss joined the club in March but was unable to keep them in the Vanarama National League South.

Since their relegation Brown has overseen a whole host of changes as he overhauls his squad in preparation for the new season and an attempt to bounce back to step two of the non-league pyramid at the first attempt.

The club also revealed that they will go to a full-time status this season.

Now, with his new contract signed Brown will hope to emulate the success he had with AFC Wimbledon earlier in his managerial career, as he took the Dons from the Ryman League to the Football League within four years
