Barnton have announced that manager Danny Meadowcroft, and his assistants Andy Burgess and Brian Pritchard, have left the club.
A statement on the club website said: “The job, which was offered to Danny at his request, was on an interim basis due to the impending changes in our boardroom structure.
“Brian Pritchard and Andy Burgess will also both leave the club at this time, and the club would like place on record our sincere thanks to all three of them for the success they have guided us to this season.
“A new chairman will be announced over the coming days, and with him a new Management Team that will take the club on a new journey into the NWCFL Premier Division”.
Danny Meadowcroft told the club website:
“I’m absolutely delighted with what has been achieved this season in terms of promotion and cup success. From top to the bottom, everybody at the club has contributed to what occurred on Saturday and we are delighted with the closeness of the club.
“Having said that, we are also saddened as Saturday was our last game for the club, something we have known about for several months due to the change behind the scenes at the club, and that a new management team is in place for next season with its new committee and board.
“The players have also been aware of this, and it’s credit to every single one of them and the management team the professional attitude they have displayed throughout this time, to get the job done and make everyone a winner.
“The lads have given me and us everything. And I’ve surrounded myself with good people and they deserve their time in the spotlight too, Pritch & Burge especially!”
