Andy Mangan says he shares the ambitions of Tranmere Rovers and wants to help the club achieve the goal of getting back into the Football League.
The forward, who rejoined Rovers on Friday from Shrewsbury Town, says he’s delighted to be back among friends and a familiar manager.
He told Tranmere PlayerHD: “The Club is fantastic, having been here before I knew what it was all about.
“I know how ambitious the Club is and it feels really good to be back here. To see all the lads again who are my friends, it’s been really nice.
“I think the manager (Micky Mellon) gets the best out of me. He knows when to push me and he wants me to keep improving and getting better and I want that for myself too.
“One of the main reasons to come here here is to get promoted. It’s not going to be easy as there are a lot of teams who want to do the same but if we can keep the results coming as they have been then hopefully that will be enough to get us over the line.”
