Margate have signed Michael Abnett for the 2019/20 season.
Abnett joins the Blues from Merstham, where he was vital to their Bostik Premier League play-off campaign last season.
Abnett can play both right-back and right-midfield and will add further competition for places in Jay Saunders’ new-look side.
The full-back made his Blues debut on Saturday afternoon as the ‘Gate drew their opening pre-season fixture 1-1 against National League South side Welling United.
