Margate striker Jamie Taylor has joined Eastbourne Borough on loan for 28 days.

Taylor, who has struggled to break into Nikki Bull’s side, will benefit from game time at Priory Lane where he scored twice for the Blues in their 4-1 win their in September.

Manager Bull reckons Taylor will benefit massively from time on the pitch and a chance to gain match fitness.

“When I got the job I promised all the players that they would get a chance to play but unfortunately with the form of Freddie and the way we play that hasn’t been possible”.

“Jamie doesn’t want to leave the club but knows he will benefit from a month of games and come back here to put pressure on Freddie”.

Taylor will return to Hartsdown Park in time for the clubs away fixture at Sutton United on Saturday 27th February but will be unable to play for Boro when they visit Hartsdown Park on Tuesday 23rd February.
