AFC Telford United have confirmed the departure of goalkeeper Sheridan Martinez.

Martinez has found his opportunities limited since the arrival of fellow keepers Max Bramley and Andy Wycherley, with the injury he suffered against Brackley Town in August also setting him back.

It has now been mutually agreed that he will leave to seek first-team action. The club have praised Martinez’ ‘excellent professional attitude throughout his time with the club.’

Meanwhile, midfielder Daniel McKenna has returned to parent club Wolves, with John McAtee’s loan arrival from Shrewsbury something that manager Gavin Cowan felt would impact upon McKenna’s chances at the Vanarama National League North side.
