There was another signing announced by AFC Sudbury manager Mark Morsley when he informed the club that he had agreed terms for striker Joe Maybanks to return to the King’s Marsh Stadium.
Maybanks left Braintree Town at the end of last season having spent three seasons with the Cressing Road club.
During the 2015/16 season Joe spent time on loan with AFC making twenty-five appearances and scoring seven goals. He made a number of first team appearances for Braintree while they were in the National League. Earlier this season he played for Bishop’s Stortford.
He will be available for selection when AFC play Romford at home on Saturday.
