Midfielder Louis McGrory has joined Gloucester City on loan from National League side Forest Green Rovers until the end of the season.

His temporary move to the Tigers will be his third loan spell of the campaign, having already gained valuable experience at Hungerford Town and Evesham United in the National League South and the Evo-Stik League Southern Division One South & West respectively.

The Swindon-based teenager has impressed since signing his first professional deal in the summer of 2015.

He joined the Forest Green academy set-up when he was 16 after he had been released by Swindon Town – going onto impress in Scott Bartlett’s young side.
