Ismail Yakubu has joined Cymru Premier club Penybont from Merthyr Town.
It follows Merthyr announcing last week that they will not be taking part in the 2020/21 season in the Southern League.
Defender Yakubu, 35, notably featured for Barnet earlier in his career.
The former AFC Wimbledon and Newport County man joined Merthyr last year.
