Vanarama National League South club Wealdstone have sacked Michael Corcoran.
The decision came following a conviction for racially aggravated harassment and assaulting a police officer.
The midfielder was removed from the squad to face Eastbourne Borough for a league fixture in January, before being suspended by the club after being found guilty.
Thames Magistrates’ Court was informed that Corcoran shouted racist abuse at a woman in a kebab shop in east London and then shoved a police officer when she attempted to arrest him.
A club statement read: “Following the completion of an ongoing disciplinary process, Wealdstone FC have terminated the playing contract of Michael Corcoran.”
