Hengrove Athletic have announced the arrival of midfielder Josh Smith at the club.
The 19-year-old arrives at Norton Lane having played in the Bristol Suburban League with Bedminster Cricketers this season. A prolific scorer with more than 20 goals already this season, Smith was at Bristol City for seven years until he was 14.

“Clearly Josh has got talent, his stats show that, albeit in a lower league. I can give him an opportunity to step up to the higher level and where better than at Hengrove, where the club has a proven record of bringing through young players?”
