York City have extended Jake Wright’s loan from League One side Sheffield United until the end of January.
The 20-year-old striker has scored one goal in six appearances for the Minstermen since joining on an initial one-month deal last month.
Meanwhile, joining York is 20-year-old forward Fraser Murdoch, whose last club was Crewe Alexandra.
Murdoch had thirteen months out with an anterior cruciate ligament injury.
He had just been offered a three-year professional deal by Crewe when he suffered the cruel injury in January 2014, but worked his way back to be fit.
His form had seen him called up by Scotland under-19s but injury two days before the European Championships ended his international involvement.
He was released by Crewe at the end of last season following their relegation to League Two without managing to break into the senior side at Gresty Road.
