Mark Molesley says the Terras were fortunate to move quickly to secure midfielder Andy Robinson, after his circumstances at former club Havant & Waterlooville changed prompting his departure from the Hawks.

Molesley also admitted the club had the deal wrapped up for some time, but the club became bogged down in the paper work, leading to his announcement on June 29.

Molesley told Echosport: “I am delighted, he is a player that we have admired and courted for some time.

“It was a long time announcing it, we had it wrapped for quite a while, but certain things with the FA back and forth with paperwork and such forth was a little bit tricky but we got there in the end.

“We are delighted to have him on board, I think he will really suit the way we play, he has got some fine attributes.”

Molesley highlighted that Robinson will add to an already strong midfield, and says his new acquisition is an all-rounder.

Molesley said: “He is an midfield all-rounder, he can do everything so I think he really compliments an already really good midfield that we have got and further strengthens us even more.”
