Gateshead have signed James Montgomery on a one-year deal.
The goalkeeper puts pen to paper on Tyneside after a brief trial period during pre-season which saw him appear against Hartlepool United.
Montgomery is a name that will no doubt be familiar to Gateshead fans, having made 46 appearances for the club.
