Bishop`s Stortford manager Rod Stringer has strengthened his midfield with the addition of former Southampton junior Corby Moore.

The 22-year-old joins from National League side Forest Green Rovers on a permanent deal and goes into the squad for today’s short trip to St Albans City.

The former Saints’ academy player made one Capital One Cup appearance for his home-town club before joining American side Indy Eleven in March 2014.

In January 2015, it was confirmed that Moore had returned to England to sign for Forest Green and he made his debut as a substitute in a 5–3 home win over Southport on 28th February 2015.

In May 2015, it was confirmed that he had been offered a new six-month contract for the 2015/16 season by Forest Green and a month later it was confirmed that Moore had signed a new six-month deal to stay at The New Lawn.

In September 2015, he joined Evo-Stik League Southern Premier Division side Poole Town on a one-month loan.

He returned to Forest Green and was then immediately sent out on loan again to Poole’s league rivals, Frome Town before being released by Ady Pennock earlier this week.
