Spennymoor Town have agreed a deal with Bishop Auckland FC to sign goalkeeper Mark Bell.

Bell commented ‘I am pleased to have joined Spennymoor Town, it’s a big club and has a great history of winning trophies and hopefully we can go one step better than last year and achieve promotion.’

Bell is a vastly experienced Goalkeeper having played for Gateshead, Blyth Spartans, Whitby Town, West Auckland, Darlington 1883 and Bishop Auckland. Mark has made two Wembley appearances for West Auckland in the F.A.Vase.

Whilst at Blyth he played a pivotal role in taking them to the F.A.Cup 3rd Round Proper against Blackburn Rovers with a man of the match performance in the win over Bournemouth, and last season finished a two year spell with Darlington 1883 winning two promotions where he played in the 2-0 play off final win over Bamber Bridge.
